There is something surreal about an Indian attire. Don’t we all agree? I feel, an Indian woman looks the prettiest in a Traditional Avatar. With multitude designers foraying into the Indian Fashion scene, there is something for each one of us. However, these gorgeous pieces of art come with their huge price tags as well! The heart yearns for them but the mind stops you from burning a hole in your pockets! So what is the fix?

Well, say hello to TheStylease It is High-end e-commerce  rental platform which provides the finest collection of Indian Couture with a snap of your fingers. If you thought premium Indian designers are out of your reach, think again! TheStylease lets you choose outfits that are straight from the runway at a fraction of their original price! All you have to do is, go to their website http://www.thestylease.com and follow the instructions to select your outfit. You can’t ask for a better deal than this!

I’ve always endorsed this concept and I feel rental platforms are the need of the hour making perfect sense for the modern, working woman who would rather invest in memories instead of exorbitantly priced clothes.  So no matter what Indian occasion it is, be at the top of your game with TheStylease.

I had the opportunity of collaborating with the brand and selected 3 outfits from 3 different designers. I opted for these outfits keeping in mind the different wedding functions we generally  attend.

Look 1: I chose a Pink and Saffron Lehenga set by VASANSI.  It has a beautiful shaded coral to hot pink silk blouse and net dupatta with gota embroidery over a rich saffron hued embroidered lehenga. It’s perfect for a Shagun or Engagement ceremony. Never before had I worn this color combination and I wonder why! It’s a stunning, fresh and vibrant look. I styled this lehenga set with a pair of Meenakari earrings and necklace.

Look 2: I opted for a Maroon Embroidered Anarkali Set by MANISH MALHOTRA. It is a Maroon georgette anarkali set with maroon palazzo pants and dupatta in champagne zardozi embroidery. There is a reason why Manish Malhotra is known as the king of traditional attire and this gorgeous outfit is proof of it. The intricate embroidery and the rich color is to die for! Since the attire was quite heavy with abundant work, I didn’t feel the need to accessorise it at all! I would love to wear this for a day wedding!

Look 3: Keeping a wedding reception in mind, I selected a Lime Green Off Shoulder Lehenga Set by MAHIMA MAHAJAN. Again, this was one color shade that I hadn’t tried before and it was love at first sight! It has a Lime green off shoulder blouse in crepe with sequins, zardozi and dabka embroidery. It comes with a green lehenga in crepe and green net dupatta in net with an embellished border with tassel hanging. I styled this outfit with chandelier earrings from Minerali Store in Bandra and tied my hair in a high bun.

I had a blast shooting these looks. I hope you enjoy going through the content and the pictures. Please send in your valuable feedback. Would also love to know what you’d like to see on the blog next!
