Ola amigos!

Summers have hit us all bad and how! There are days when all I want is to be cooped up in the house, spending time reading, watching NetFlix or simply lazing around! How I wish life was that simple! However, you’ve gotta do what you gotta do! This torrid weather shouldn’t let you shun all the fun that you ought to have this summer. And what better way to begin than to dress right for this season!

This post is the second part of the Summer lookbook. My previous post being all about fresh whites and sky blues, I’ve taken a slight detour and switched to bright hues for this part of the lookbook.

Bright colours instantly uplift your bogged down mood and rejuvenate your energy levels. Just like the previous post, I’ve curated two looks here as well.

Look 1: The color Yellow being synonymous with summers, I had to feature it in my post. So here I’m wearing this canary yellow romper with cutout sleeves from Koovs which spells oodles of fun. It comes with a  self waist-bow so you can either wear it as it is or accessorise with a broad black belt to break the monotony of the outfit. I’ve teamed the yellow romper with colorful tie-up pom-pom sandals to add vibrance to the look!

Look 2: Not even the harshest Sun can let you stay away from your lunch date or an early evening of sangrias with the girls! My pick for such an outing would be a cutesy-casual midi dress! I think Lulu&Sky is going to be my “quora” for all things fashion! Just as always, they never fail to please me. In my second look, I’m wearing a beautiful red midi-dress with a halter back from their collection. I couldn’t have asked for a better attire! Its classy and comfy and can easily take you from day to night occasion.

You can style this midi dress in multitude ways. I decided to style it in two ways for this post, wherein the first look, I’ve teamed the dress with nude strappy block heeled sandals, a white handbag and a silver neckpiece to keep it classy. I kept the second look casual by throwing a chambray shirt over the midi dress with nude ballerinas with bow detailing.

So don’t let the weather make you dull. Dress well and shine on!

Hope you’ve liked the summer lookbook styling series. Please feel free to comment and give your feedback!

Until next post!
