Well Hello Spring! But if the soaring temperatures are anything to go by, we are well looking at a furnace-like summer! As much as I like putting on my skinny jeans or a bodycon dress, these days it’s all about comfort wear!  Sustainable and breathable fashion is the need of the hour!  Fabrics like cotton, mull and khadi are going to be your saviours in this scorching heat!

One such label which caters  to all these essential facts is The Loom They have an eclectic mix of understated yet exquisite garments.

I’m a huge hoarder of contemporary, organic garments with Indian influences and The Loom doesn’t fail me  at all. Each of their products is beautifully handcrafted by Indian artisans from all over the country. From bright hues to earthy tones, they have it all!

In this post, you’ll find me wearing a Light Blue Khadi Handblock Printed Dress from their collection called Nazakat. The powder blue contrasted with red block printed floral motifs is quite refreshing and soothing to the eyes this spring. It has a flowy silhouette which is apt for this weather. You will find a bow detailing at the back which gives the outfit an interesting edge.

I love taking the earthy route while styling such organic outfits, hence I’ve styled this khadi dress with silver jhumkis and juttis. In terms of makeup, I’ve kept the look muted with hints of mauves and browns and a dash of drama(If you can see it in the pictures).

So for all those who want to invest in fuss free, versatile clothing, The Loom is your calling!

Hope you like this look. Please send in your feedback as they mean a lot to me!

Until next post!
