Seems like everybody is digging the off-shoulder  trend and rightly so! These tops are such versatile pieces of garments that they can be styled with absolutely anything! The trend that began somewhere in 2015 is in its glorious form in 2016! From casual tops to blouses and dresses, the options are countless!

One such variation of the off-shoulder is the “Cold Shoulder”.  That’s right. Cold shoulders are not exactly Off-shoulders. Though there is only a slight difference between the two trends, it still makes a DIFFERENCE! I had no knowledge about this trivia until recently, hence I’ve decided to share this little piece of information with all of you by doing a post on the Cold shoulder trend.

Like I mentioned, the difference isn’t much except that there is a hole in the area of your shoulders  leaving the skin bare between the strap and the sleeve.

To give a clearer picture about this trend, I’ve styled this super pretty maroon printed cold shoulder top with tie up tassels from the label House of Garments, the link of which is given below. I love opting for a sporty, street style look from time-to-time. Hence, I’ve tucked  this cold shoulder top from the back into a short denim skirt and teamed it with my favorite pair of Puma high-tops. I’ve been wearing them practically everywhere! Since this is a fuss-free, sporty look, I kept my hair in a high pony and accessorized the ensemble with my quirky oversized Sunnies from Propshop24 , a tie-up choker from Pipa Bella and an olive sling bag from Mango.

Personally, I’ve only worn off-shoulders until now and it sure is a welcome change. The best part about the cold shoulder is that you need not worry about the sleeve going too low or high as in off-shoulders depending on the elastic being loose or tight, thus making you fidgety!

Let me know your views on this look and which trend do you prefer more!!

Until next time, Ciao!
