Hello my fellow readers!
Don’t we all just love getting our beautiful ethnic wear out of our closets and donning them on traditional occasions! But with summer reaching its peak, it is becoming increasingly difficult to wear anything that is too heavy or embellished with a lot of work.
I personally, am a big fan of beautiful textured garments with work focussed on a particular part of the outfit. Also, I’m a lot into florals this season. They made a glorious comeback in SS15 and are here to stay for good! You’ll see a lot of designers incorporating floral prints into their collection, whether its western or ethnic wear.
I came across one such Indian designer Kanupriya Jain who specializes in Indian as well as Indo-western garments. This Jaipur based designer shows a lot of promise with her work. After going through her collection, I fell in love with her floral pleated midi-skirts.
For this collaboration, I styled one such floral midi skirt in rose pink with an absolutely gorgeous pink collared crop top with beautiful gota patti work and potli button detailing. Its works perfectly well as a sangeet outfit in this horrid weather! Since this look is created for the day, I went ahead with a dewy look in terms of makeup with light pink lips, coral blush, a little golden on the eyelids with loads of highlighter and kohled eyes. I accessorized the look with golden jhumkis, golden kadas and a statement ring.
Check out Kanupriya Jain’s work for gorgeous Indian wear suitable for any occasion! Details are mentioned below.
Do let me know your views on this look!!
Lots of love!
