Hello mi lovelies!
Without wasting any time, let me get down to business!
In my previous post, I spoke about teaming a bold print with a basic color and allowing it to dominate the overall look! I took this theme a notch higher and decided to completely get away from my comfort zone! Today’s post is all about the much talked about “Print on print” fashion trend. Colorful and vibrant clothing that unites you with mother nature are so in vogue right now. Prints are the perfect fashion accessory in themselves. They don’t need so much embellishment or ornamentation. This bold trend is not easy to carry and can be a huge fashion faux pas when not done right. It’s the embodiment of sophistication, ultimate luxe, and trendy coolness. Mixed-print looks translate into fabulous styles and outfits in any season, for any occasion.
Mixing prints is purely an instinctive look. You have to sense and check what’s looking the best on you irrespective of public opinion. Let the mirror be your honest guide and see if the look that you want to try is really smiling back at you in approval.
My love for http://www.thequirkbox.com is pretty evident from a couple of my previous posts where I’ve featured their products! They don’t shy away from breaking fashion boundaries and each of their products is sure to make a statement!
I stumbled upon the label https://thejodilife.com in a magazine and I couldn’t take my eyes off their collection. Just like a lot of other Indian based labels, JODI too believes in encouraging local craft techniques. They claim to work with 100% natural Indian textiles and all their products are Hand Blocked in India. Also, they are pretty affordable which is cherry to the cake! What I love about both these labels is that their collection brings out a new splash of print story each time.
My decision of styling this tangerine dress with a green shirt was because of the green leaf prints on the dress. I teamed this look with brown brogues and accessorized the look with my gorgeous Radhika Agrawal earrings which are a definite head turner!!
I believe this look is perfect for a casual lunch or a coffee date! Let me know your views on this print on print look!
