So soft, romantic and ethereal, cupcake inspired pastel colors are the obsession of all girlish girls, who want to spice up their looks with some innocent and romantic vibe, breaking the monotony and diminishing all the blues. Milk caramel, velvety peach, pale pink, powdery mint, banana, guava, lavender and baby blue – all these delicious Easter egg inspired shades instantly cheer up and turn any look on the positive way.

Generally we relate pastels to day wear but who said you can’t look absolutely stunning wearing pastels for an occasion or a party at night!!

Here, I’m wearing a powdery mint lace full sleeves short dress. Lace details go well along with pastel shades, making them appear even more delicate and feminine. Also, what makes this dress uber sexy is that its backless! So ladies, if you want to show off your toned backs, you know what to do ;).

My fashion mantra is “Less is more” which holds true even for pastels  so try sticking to a single pastel shade which will elongate and slim down your silhouette. You can always experiment with your accessories! Here, I’ve teamed my look with a gold sequined clutch and golden stilettos to jazz it up a notch! I’m wearing a very pretty and delicate moonstone necklace which makes a statement in itself without taking away the attention from the pastel dress. Avoid vibrant shades in your make-up and keep it as minimal as possible.

Hope you’ve like my second take on Pastels! Your feedback would be more than welcomed! 🙂
